Dr. Parmar is an esteemed leader in the field of integrative naturopathic cancer care. He is the co-founder and medical director of the Integrated Health Clinics (IHC). Dr. Parmar is also the founder of the Integrative Oncology Institute. He has been in practice since 2000 and is licensed in both British Columbia, Canada and Washington State, USA.
Dr. Parmar launched the IHC Research Department, which includes PhD researchers and statisticians from BC Cancer Agency and UBC. They are actively publishing and disseminating the IHC’s survival data and are planning to conduct prospective naturopathic approach trials.
Dr. Parmar is residency director and primary teaching supervisor of a CNME-approved naturopathic oncology residency with Bastyr University. Dr. Parmar spearheaded the establishment of hyperthermia in Canada in 2009, and in 2018 was nominated President of the International Clinical Hyperthermia Society (ICHS). He has served on numerous boards and was appointed as a member of the OncANP Delphi Panel, and currently serves on the Education Committee of the Society for Integrative Oncology.
Dr. Parmar is the lead author and editor-in-chief of the Textbook of Naturopathic Oncology: A Desktop Guide of Integrative Cancer Care as well as The Algorithm Book and is the author of Arming the Immune System: The Incredible Power of Natural Immunity & the Fever Response.
