Marisa Houser

Dr. Houser is a Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist. She earned her Doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine and her Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport. She also studied at the Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the largest out-patient TCM hospital in Shenyang, China where she earned a certificate for her studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Houser specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that are transmitted by ticks, such as Lyme disease, Babesia, Bartonella and more. She uses a variety of diagnostic tests, including blood tests, to help diagnose tick-borne illnesses. Treatment involves herbal and nutraceutical interventions as well as other supportive therapies to manage symptoms and prevent complications.
