Kinney have received certification in the use of the diode soft tissue laser and Er,Cr:YSGG laser for Dual Wavelength Deep Pocket Therapy (DPT)â„¢, a minimally invasive, FDA-cleared therapy for moderate to advanced gum disease. Laser- assisted periodontal therapy has been clinically proven to reduce pocket depth and inflammation, promote new attachment, and reduce the pain and healing time associated with traditional gum surgery. Drs. Kinney are dedicated to the practice of integrative dentistry. Integrative dentistry recognizes how the mouth and the body interact with each other and that the key to optimal health is to understand this integral relationship. Â The latest medical research strongly supports that the health of all the bodily systems, especially the endocrine, immune, nervous, cardiovascular, and oral cavity, share common connections. With an integrative approach, dental and medical care can be tailored to specifically address the underlying causes of disease, rather than just treating the symptoms.
