Conscious Pharmacist,

I began my studies in Pharmacy at the University of Groningen (The Netherlands) many years ago, driven by the belief that, as a pharmacist, I could help people heal. However, when I started working in practice, it quickly became clear to me that traditional medicines often do not cure health conditions but rather treat the symptoms of the disease. I also noticed that many of my patients would return after the initial prescription, seeking additional medication to manage the side effects. It soon became evident that the traditional role of a pharmacist was not aligned with my beliefs and life purpose.
