I take an egalitarian approach to psychotherapy and invest time and resources into trust building and working towards a strong therapeutic alliance. I have a directive approach, I ask lots of questions and have you think about things in new ways. I avoid advice and decision making on behalf of clients and work with them to build a foundational trust in self to make decisions and manage difficulty.
