Alicia K.l. Pon

For the last 24 years; 16 years in Hong Kong and 8 years in Singapore, I provide care and support for individuals and families through counselling, psychotherapy and psycho-education from my private practice. I am also an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the National University of Singapore, teaching and supervising on modules such as counseling, children and adolescents' trauma and mental health, play therapy and sandplay. My other experiences and specializations include issues such as divorce & separation, coping with chronic and terminal illness, grief & loss, adoption & attachment, parent-child relationship, developmental stresses and adjustment issues. My specialized professional training is in Play Therapy (Child Centered & Synergetic), Jungian Sandplay Therapy, Sensori-Motor Art Therapy, Analytical Psychology, Touch Skills, Brainspotting, and Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy. I graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a PhD in Social Work. I also attained my Master degree in Child and Adolescent Health from University of Sydney. I am a Registered Play Therapy – Supervisor for both the Association of Play Therapy in Singapore and the United States. I am also an Expressive Sandplay Practitioner (ETA), Member of Sandplay Therapy America (STA), and a Clinical Member with the Singapore Association for Counselors.
