*I’m located in Tacoma, Washington, and am able to work with folks from other states and countries.* I’m a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner trained in the Safe & Sound Protocol, Transforming Touch, Embodied Recovery for Eating Disorders, Dynamic Attachment Re-patterning experience (DARe), Somatic Skills Online, Somatic Resilience and Regulation, and yoga therapy. I have been working in the healing and helping professions since 1993, from working with patients in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation to research, teaching, and medical/scientific writing. I hold a doctorate in Communication Sciences & Disorders, with a focus on the application of neuroscience to medical, cognitive, and developmental conditions.
