Hello, my name is Michelle and I have been working in the behavioral health field since 1992. I have a small private practice providing psychotherapy to individuals who are struggling with common life issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-worth, relationships and relational trauma, substance use disorders, grief and loss, and other traumas that may include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I utilize a customized approach that may consist of various techniques such as Somatic Experiencing, (SE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dynamic Attachment Re-patterning experience (DARe), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), stress management and mindfulness techniques, creative processes/activities, humor, and traditional talk therapy, to name a few. With my over twenty years of experience, I provide a balance of insightful and direct feedback with non-directive therapy, as I understand the importance of you discovering your own insights. I am an open and accepting person who is non-judgmental, as I realize we are all just human, and are perfectly imperfect.
