Rebecca A. Ward

As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT #90466), I specialize in developmental trauma and the physiological symptoms associated with chronic stress. I work with individuals suffering from these difficulties and my therapeutic work is largely informed by somatic-based practices, including Somatic Experiencing®. I am also influenced by some of the other somatic modalities, including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Structural Dissociation, and the Strozzi Institute's work. I am comfortable working with all levels of trauma and have extensive training in SE, including the Touch Skills training, assisting at SE trainings and facilitating SE-informed workshops. I also integrate other therapeutic modalities, including a Certification in Interactive Guided Imagery, the Enneagram, and trainings in various couples therapies. My practice has successfully transitioned to offering virtual/remote sessions.
