Sara has been working in community health and wellness for over the last decade. She has over 500 hours of yoga training and holds her certification in Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) from the Center for Trauma and Embodiment in Boston, MA. She is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and has a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) with the state of Colorado. For the past six years Sara has worked in crisis and trauma intervention, developed programming for women & children in high conflict environments, and created group offerings to build community and connection through breath, movement, and healing. Sara believes that in restoring a connection to your body as well as to the natural world it expands the capacity to live a more integrated and resourced life. Sara offers a variety of possibilities in session combining Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and nature + animal assisted therapy. The process of understanding your mind, body, and spirit is held with compassion and care in this space. I look forward to connecting with you!
