Stefanie L. Cohen

Since childhood, I have worked and played best in collaboration -- with other artists, with my own body and others', with the cycles of nature -- responding to and elaborating upon magical and mysterious images as they appear between us. Throughout decades as a somatic practitioner, theater-maker, movement teacher, improvising dancer, curator, and a fine arts based performance artist, I delight in the integration of bodily awareness, contemplative practice, spiritual mystery, and creative process.​ I have served as a hospice worker, providing direct, hands-on care and practical and emotional support to terminally-ill clients and their caregivers.
