I provide individual and couples therapy. My work with clients often explores the traumatic impact of systemic oppression and the importance of gender, race, and sexual orientation (among many other identities) on our lives, mental health, and relationships. I have experience helping clients heal from medical/surgical trauma, motor vehicle/plane accidents, near death experiences, and sexual assault. I utilize SE, along with a relational-cultural approach, to explore relationship patterns, unmet attachment needs, and societal messages that can result in nervous system dysregulation, shame, self-blame, and disconnection from self and others. I obtained my PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Akron in 2017 and completed SE training in 2022. I have been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois since 2018.
