Susan Risula

Susan Risula is a professional counsellor and psychotherapist with MSW, RSW, SEP and sole operator of Resolve/Renew Counselling and Consulting. Clientel: adults, adolescents, individuals and couples. Over 35 years of clinical experience. Specializing in teaching skills to reduce the symptoms of stress & trauma most affecting adults, adolescents & families. Susan utilizes a combination of body-mind and emotion-focused approaches in her practice. She has taken attachment theory and repair training, embodied mindfulness meditation, CBT, crisis response, Redecision Therapy, and Transactional Analysis. She has recently completed Integral Somatic Psychology (ISP) training. She is certified in the field of trauma as a Somatic Experiencing (SE) Practitioner (SEP) and Somatic Experiencing Touch training for Psychotherapists.
