Doula (DONA trained) & soon-to-be Doctor of Occupational Therapy (Creighton University at UAA-Anchorage, anticipated May 2023) Hi, I’m Alexa! In May 2023, I will be graduating with a doctoral degree in occupational therapy (OT). As an OT practitioner, I help you do what is important to you! Additional training & experience: I have interdisciplinary clinical experience from working at Providence Alaska Medical Center with occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy. I have been selected as a scholar in infant and early childhood mental health through UAA’s Project Blends program, and I am pursuing neuromotor and sensory-focused neonatal therapy mentorship with the National Association for Neonatal Therapists (NANT) to support the development of infants in the NICU environment.
