My fascination with the human body began from a young age, growing up playing competitive sports. As a runner and triathlete throughout college I was excited to pursue a career where I would be able to help others achieve their best physical self and improve quality of life. During PT school I was introduced to the world of pelvic health and knew I had found my passion and niche in physical therapy. I graduated with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University in 2017. Since starting my career as a physical therapist I have become greatly engaged in pelvic floor rehabilitation as I see the need to let men and women living in pain or embarrassment due to pelvic floor dysfunction know that there is help and they are not alone. I am an active member of APTA Section on Women's Health and am specializing in female and male pelvic floor rehabilitation through the Herman and Wallace Institute. As a pelvic health practitioner I am passionate about rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions that can be experienced during pregnancy and postpartum as well as pelvic pain conditions. A few of the conditions you can expect me to treat with individualized care and compassion are: general low back/pelvic girdle pain, stress and urge incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, pain with intercourse (dyspareunia), pelvic organ prolapse, colorectal conditions, diastasis recti, and difficulty returning to exercise/sport post-pregnancy.
