Avani G. Dilger, LPC, CAS, AAT, ADS-RT, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Addiction Specialist, a Somatic Psychotherapist, an Auricular Acu-Technician, an Acudetox Trainer and a Motivational Interviewing Trainer, who specializes in substance abuse prevention and treatment with adults, teens and their families. She is a certified Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) facilitator. She is the founder and Executive Director of the “Natural Highs – Healthy Alternatives to Drugs & Alcohol” nprofit program, an invative, grassroots substance abuse prevention and intervention program that empowers teens and adults to become leaders around healthier lifestyles and positive peer culture. The nprofit NaturalHighs.org is facilitating community-based trauma trainings and is teaching people all ages neuroscience in order to empower people all ages to understand the origin and the ways how to heal mental health, trauma, and substance abuse issues.
