Hetty Verhagen

I am a therapeutic social worker in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom (England, Great Britain). I have over a decade of experience of working with children, young people and adults affected by adoption. I am passionate about supporting people with the impact of trauma and adverse childhood experiences, as well as with issues such as anxiety, stress, anger and depression. I have done training in a number of talk-based approaches such as DDP, CBT and trauma-focussed CBT and I integrate body-based approaches including TRE and EFT in all my therapeutic work. I offer private and group TRE sessions in Hebden Bridge, West-Yorkshire, as well as online via Zoom or Teams.
