Karen Austen TRE® Provider, Accredited Coach, Mentor, InterPlay Leader, Group Facilitator, HeartMath Facilitator, Wheel of Consent Facilitator I bring over 25 years in the Criminal Justice System and two decades of embodied facilitation to my work with TRE®. My background weaves together coaching, consent education, somatic storytelling, and trauma-informed leadership enhancing my ability to listen deeply to the body and sense what may be hidden from view. My personal search for resilience and wellbeing after burut in high-pressure systems led me to study with Dr. David Berceli. TRE became the missing piece that restored my nervous system, released old patterns, and returned me to presence, pleasure, and clarity. I’ve worked with thousands across a wide spectrum police, victims, perpetrators, children, & carers of those with PTSD supporting them to restore connection and deepen capacity. What I value most is how TRE expands our natural ability for compassion, coherence, and self-trust. Today, I integrate all of this gently guiding others to meet their body with respect, release what longer serves, & reclaim their aliveness.
