I'm a Somatic Movement Therapist & Kundalini Yoga teacher with a central interest in helping build people’s ability to feel and sense themselves so that they are able to safely experience their continuous forming instead of seeking a singular permanent state. By raising their awareness of body sensations including the breath rate, heart rate and muscular tonus they gain an important tool for monitoring their internal experience which in turn allows them to intervene consciously to both positively support an activity, performance level or feeling state, and intervene when they are stressed or overwhelmed. In both constructive and protective states it is a point of personal power to kw you can influence, amplify or regain control of your actions and emotions. The practice of TRE supported me greatly in resetting my nervous system for optimised function and I have seen this useful effect for many people I have taught using the exercises.
